Razer Orochi Bluetooth Notebook Gaming Mouse Review
I really only use this mouse in wired mode because at work or on flights wireless bluethooth is not allowed. The main reason I bought this is for its small compact travel size and its ability to be in wired mode when at work or on airplanes. The wired mode is so nice that I havent even tried the bluetooth mode and probably never will.
The 3 foot cable is the perfect size and is gold plated and comes with a plastic cover to protect the usb. The mouse has a very nice "soft touch" matte finish with glossy plastic on the sides and bottom. This and the blue led's on the mouse wheel match my M11x led's exactly. The neoprene case is very nice, matches my alienware notebook slevee, and fits inside the sleeve perfectly.
I have avarage sized hands and I find it very comforatble to use even after a few hours of Civ 5 or Company of Heroes. It works very good for RTS, but I did have to turn the sensitivity down for Mass Effect 2. I have an older logitec wireless laser mouse on my desktop and its not even in the same league as this mouse.
I downloaded the software from the razer site with no problems. Every thing works for me. Are there better wireless gaming mouse options out there? Yes. For home use I plan on upgrading to the new logitec G700, its just to big and heavy for my travel use. So I paln on keeping the Orochi in the travel sleeve and the G700 at home, the best of both worlds.
